What is a blog?* What about a blogger?
A blog (a portmanteau of “web log”) is a website where entries are written in chronological order and commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. A blogger is simply the author or publisher of a blog.
Why do I need a blog? What should I post about?
It all depends on your motivation…
If you’re a business, a blog is a great way to reach out to potential and existing customers, solidifying relationships. A blog is also a great place to announce product updates, company happenings, and special achievements. Providing industry commentary establishes your company as an expert and a leader in the space. The addition of comments transforms your blog into a 2-way discussion with customers who can provide valuable feedback, product feature requests, and general suggestions. Directly and indirectly, this all translates to increased sales and customer satisfaction.
If you’re an individual, a blog is a greay way to reach out to friends, family, and colleagues. You can let them know what you’ve been doing and what lies ahead. You can also post important photos and videos. Finally, it gives you the opportunity to express your thoughts or voice your opinion on a certain topic.
Do I need to have technical knowledge to run a blog?
Absolutely not. If you know how to use a basic word processing program, then you’ll be able to run a blog without problems.

Yes. Although we do facilitate the blog set-up process, we can also help companies and active bloggers optimize their content and experience. This not only increases traffic, but also increased sales and wider brand exposure.
I don’t have a domain. Can I still get a blog?
Yeah. We not only offer domains, but also name consulting in the event that you want to create a branded blog experience.
As often as you’d like. We do recommend however that you post no less than once a month. What’s also important is consistency. Your readers will come to expect a schedule. Finally, the quality level has to remain high. If you’re posting just for the sake of posting, then you should be posting less often to ensure a high level of quality.

RSS (commonly known as “Really Simple Syndication”) is a family of Web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines or podcasts. An RSS document, which is called a “feed”, “web feed”, or “channel”, contains either a summary of content from an associated web site or the full text. RSS makes it possible for people to keep up with their favorite web sites in an automated manner that’s easier than checking them manually.
